This company, Maintenance & More, ripped me off for a fare-thee-well! They took advantage of me because I am a single female from out of town, and they figured I didn't know anything about cars. They overpriced me, waaaayyyyy over charged me for replacing a fuel pump and oil change. They misrepresented themselves and lied to me...telling me the fuel leaking form the fuel pump was going into the oil and it would ruin my engine. I have checked with other companies of this sort just to make sure before I reported them, and I was correct. For a fuel pump replacement and oil change, they charged me $375.00!!! They told me part of that charge was $20 iin gas since it had leaked out - and they only put $1.00 worth of gas...I barely made it home as I only had $6 to put gas in with. They lied and said they couldn't vaccuum cause of all the stuff in my car, and didn't even bother to vaccuum the front floor...because I am not a wealthy customer who owns a Mercedes or Jag, and they knew I was poor, due to being on disability because in the beginning they were going to charge me over $400!!!!! They think all females are ignorant of cars, I guess, but I've taken classes and worked on cars and been around them all my life, even delivering parts to mechanics back home.
Now my carburator is messed up, with too rich a fuel mixture...and it was not like that before I took it into them. I refuse to take it back to them because as shady as they are, they would mess something else up just to get more business!
These people should be ashamed of themselves, because they let their greed overcome any honesty or integrity they ever had.
I am extremely dissatisfied with their service and their integrity/honesty.
I would recommend to anyone thinking about going to them to run in the other direction unless you have money to waste!!!
They get an F--- in my book!!!
