In mid-February our old oil furnace gave up the ghost. We needed a replacement, and in a hurry. We decided to go with a Heat Pump. We needed everything - the Heat Pump System, air filtration, deep duct cleaning, duct wrapping, and a major upgrade to our home's electrical service.
After checking out several contractors, we chose Quality Air. Their quote was competitive and specific in details. The representative and all staff and work crews were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.The work took 3 days and they cleaned up after work every day they were here.
The work was scheduled within a week - and all work was done on schedule, on time, and on quote. No surprises, delays or unexpected fees.
Since our old furnace had turned into a "soot volcano", we needed a serious duct cleaning. They spent nearly a full day doing a very thorough job removing all the old soot and dust.
The equipment they recommended (Amana) has an excellent warranty.
They took care of everything - removing our old system, pulling the right permits, scheduling the county inspection - which passed with flying colors.
Overall we were extremely pleased! Not a single thing went wrong, they could not have done a better job. Not only that, this was our first real major home upgrade/repair and we were very nervous about it at first. The way this company treated us, we are no longer "afraid" of major repairs - they helped boost our confidence for whatever may be the next job that comes up with "this old house."
