Steer clear - that's the best advice we could give. Bought service through Screaming Daily Deals. When we made the appointment, the owner was very clear that the reason they signed up was to ensure that we would book ongoing service. We booked two weeks in advance and got the names of the two ladies that would be dispatched. When asked what type of cleaning agents were utilized, no names were provided, just that they were bought by the gallon and mixed special-green cleaning. On the day of the cleaning - two other women showed up - no prior call from the owner to say there would be a change. One spoke broken English, one not at all. We noticed after the ladies left that our master shower faucet was broken. We immediately called the owner to report it. She waited two days to call back then tried to explain that 'professional' cleaners (and she was not expecting me to understand how they work, even though I've cleaned my house for seven years) was that they would fill buckets of water from the bath tub - located in another room, in order to clean the shower. Ridiculous. Why not fill the bucket from the shower head? Because it was complicated, they forced it and broke it - but she would check with her partner and get back to us. Over a week of leaving messages and trying to contact her with no response. The shower faucet was working before they got here and was broken when they left. We just wanted them to do the right thing and fix it-they chose to just ignore us. The dusting - was the same as a six year old would do, just dust around things and never pick anything up to dust underneath. The explanation? Our house was too big to do a thorough job. We would have happily paid for any extra time, but we were never told that a better job would be done if they spent another 1/2 hour or hour and we were never asked to show them how to use the faucet, rather it was forced, hidden from us, and now we can't even get a call back. Very unprofessional. We will NEVER work with them again and could NEVER recommend them for anyone else's cleaning. Stay Away from using American Green Cleaning Services.
